La Moderation

We are a small family run camping and caravan site in the Deux Sevres region which has on average around 2400 hours of sunshine every year! Second only to Provence and the Côte d'Azur! But, we do not have the crowds of tourists that you find in some other places in France; this area has conserved its tranquility and the unspoiled beauty of authentic rural France.

We have only ten spaces for Caravans so no crowds and all with electricity available.

Newly re-furbished toilets, Showers and chemical toilet disposal point. All set in our fully enclosed grounds behind large gates and hedges which ensure your stay will be a peaceful and secluded one.

We also have a ten seat Jacuzzi for relaxing evenings and a small meeting room with a selection of books and video’s DVD’s etc.

Our brand new 9.4 x 5.4 mtr above ground swimming pool with its sundeck is the perfect place to relax in the sunshine

Ideally situated in the southern Deux Sevres in the Centre of the four departments which make up the Poitou Charente, we are the perfect place to explore this second sunniest region of France.

Or as we are just five miles off the N10 motorway, an ideal stopover on your way to and from the south of France or Spain.

We are also central to four airports Poitiers, Angouleme, Limoge and La Rochelle are all within easy reach.
