Camping Pineta

Camping Pineta is located in Umbria, the green heart of Italy, wonderful resort for an holiday, and perfect layover when you are travelling from north to south or back. It's a well-positioned base from where to explore Umbria and centre Italy, and an ideal choice for those who love the simple and quiet country life.

We have pitches 10X10 mt size, with water and electricity in each one, services with hot shower and hot water in the sinks, and nice bungalows which can accomodate up to 5 people, with private bathroom and kitchen (furnished with all the necessary). You may choose day by day whether to swim in the pool,  take a stroll in the woods searching for mushrooms, have a leaf peeping trip (the Valle del Carpina area is the best place in Italy where to practice this activity, indeed it's also called 'Colours' Valley') or visit Pietralunga, Gubbio, Assisi or Perugia... and buying tasty delights on your way!

The neighbourhood of the Camping is ideal for a walk along the paths, trekking and mountain biking  through the typical Appennine wood of high hill; moreover, 300 meters away from the Camping there’s the Ornithological Museum of Candeleto, and, just a few Km away there’s the Astronomic Observatory of Coloti. And all around the year, Pietralunga organizes  folkloristic festivals, where you can live the ancient Italian life style and traditions!
